Fall Flower Patch

Fall Flower Patch Idea!

Flower Patch FallYour Stamping Teacher Tips:

  • On this sample, I used the solid stamps to create a vivid and bold statement using wonderful Fall colors
  • I started with the lighter colors first, ending with the darker, Elegant Eggplant.
  • Try to cover as much white as you can, leaving a little bit to stamp smaller images.
  • Keep your sentiment simple as you don’t want to over power an already bold collage.
  • Of course, you need to add a 3-dimensional element to your card front, such as the five-point flower from the Flower Fair framelits.
  • Don’t forget to stamp the inside, especially if you have to add a piece of Whisper White card stock to the inside of your darker card stock.

Seize The Cake

Your Stamping Teacher Tips:

  • We all have them, those little pieces of Designer Series Paper that you hate to throw out!
  • Coordinate, trim a banner end, and attach to your card stock.
  • I added a tag and tilted it, ever so slightly, to give interest.
  • Do you spy the end of the tag?  Yup! That was made with the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch

Your Stamping Teacher Tips:

    • Take a flower set, such as Flower Patch and transform with an Autumn palette.
    • Don’t try to fill every white space and you can overlap the colors a bit.
    • Be sure to stamp your envelopes!  It adds a personalized touch.
    • Keep the sentiment simple.  You don’t want it to overwhelm the already busy background.
    • Lastly, you can create a One-Sheet Wonder by simply stamping a whole sheet of 8 1/2″ x 11″ Whisper White cardstock and then cutting into the desired pieces.
