For The Birds…..

As soon as I saw this set in the Annual Catalog back in May, I knew it was going to be a personal favorite. It is definitely a sweet and super cute set, especially for coloring.
Being that this is a birthday card for my brother in law, I wanted to keep the colors on the neutral side. I love Pool Party and Basic Gray together.

Merry Minis

The Merry Minis Stamp Set and Punch Pack from the Holiday Catalog are so adorable! As soon as I saw them in the catalog, I knew right away they were going to be one of my favorites for clean and simple stamping.  I punched out some Silver Glimmer Paper using the Merry Minis Punch Pack and added the Merry Christmas sentiment from Easy Events in Real Red.

If you look REAL close, you will see that I colored the rhinestones with a red Sharpie marker. LOVE THAT little bit of detail!!!   And, the Square Lattice Embossing Folder simply adds some great texture!

Seasons of Sweets Designer Kit

Lots of busy activities over this past weekend.  Getting ready for the holidays, shopping, etc….What fun it was to make the cookies from the cookie press, as shown here.  The recipe was very easy to make the using the cookie press stamps on the cookie dough was even easier.   I was surprised by the simplicity and ease to use these for the first time.

And, then, package them up in Stampin’ Up’s! Season Of Sweets Designer Kit.  Can I just say, all the components you need to put them together are in this kit.  No stamping involved.  Put the finished cookie in the plastic bag, put it into the package, add your belly band and your label and you are done!  Easy peasy, lemon squeezy!  Perfect for the non stamper, children to assemble, or anyone with limited time.
