Another Thank You Photopolymer

Using the Another Thank You Photopolymer Stamp is terrific when paired with the 2 1/2″ Circle Punch.

Sigh!  The Fresh Prints Designer Paper Pack is retiring.   But, WOW! can’t even begin to describe all the NEW Designer Paper in the coming 2014-2015 Annual Catalog.  And, yes, that 1 1/4″ Burlap Ribbon made it into the NEW Catalog as well.

Thank You BurlapYour Stamping Teacher Tips:

  • Trim the end of the Burlap Ribbon to make produce a pennant end.
  • Add lots of glue dots when adhering the Burlap Ribbon.
  • To pop up the 2 1/2″ circle stamped image, add Stampin’ Dimensionals along the edges of the Burlap ribbon, then place your stamped image over.

Geometrical and Another Thank You!

Can I share a secret with you?!   The Geometrical Stamp Set and the Arrows Embossing Folder have made it into the NEW 2014-2015 catalog.  Sad to say that the Kaleidoscope Designer Series Paper will be retiring.

Be sure to grab your retiring craft supplies now, while supplies last!

Thank You so much

Your Stamping Teacher Tips:

  • When I made this card, I coordinated the colors from the Kaleidoscope Designer Series Paper.
  • To break up all the arrows, I turned the arrow embossed cardstock one way and trimmed my papers to turned them the opposite way.
  • Pop at least one triangle up.

Rainbow With Eye-Catching Ikat!

This card went together fairly easy! All I have to do is look outside and hope for an early spring.  My thoughts turned to sun and blue sky, not the dreaded snowstorms that we have been having lately.

So, how did I do it?!

With the Eye-Catching Ikat  and Another Thank You Photopolymer Stamp Sets!

Thank You

Your Stamping Teacher Tips:

  • I chose to use muted colors along with a few bold colors for contrast.  Don’t be afraid to experiment with color combinations!
  • If you haven’t tried Stampin’ Up’s! NEW firm foam pads, you are in for a treat.  They work exceptionally well with the NEW Photopolymer Stamps to achieve a wonderful stamped image.
  • When using the NEW firm foam pads, use light and even pressure.  No smashing your stamps into the pads allowed!

Quick and Easy One-Layer Card

Have you ever wanted to make a one-layer card and were just too intimidated to even think about it?!

This super quick and easy idea came about in my studio the other day as I was searching for ways to help you out when you need a quick thank you card.

Using a set of Stampin’ Up! Notecards with Envelopes  along with an assortment of color coordinated markers and your favorite sentiment, you can effortlessly create a one-of-a-kind card in no time at all!

Thank You

So, how did I do it?!

1. Pick three or four color coordinated Stampin’ Up! markers.
2. Using the flare side of your dual tipped marker, lay the marker flat, almost parallel to the cardstock.
3. Use long strokes of color in one direction.
4. Add as many lines of each color, slightly overlapping.

Magnificent Maple and Photopolymer Stamps

Happy Monday everyone!

What a GORGEOUS weekend it was here in Connecticut!  I took time to enjoy the outdoors and was able to get a little stamping in before dinner. How about you?!

I received the Magnificent Maple single stamp on page 18 of the Holiday Catalog for FREE as this was one of the perks of being a Manager.  I also ordered the NEW Another Thank You Photopolymer Stamp Set, Thank You.  I don’t know about you, but when I get a NEW Stampin’ Up! box, I need to break it open right away.

This is the first time I tried the Photopolymer stamps.  You should know that there is an odor with the Photopolymer and I have to preface this by saying, if you are sensitive in any way to smells, they might not be for you.  Also, being a rubber purist, inking them is a little different.  I do like my rubber stamps!

I couldn’t wait to try them out and was intrigued by the NEW Thank You set.  My review of them so far is terrific.  They stick super amazing to our clear blocks, are transparent for ease of placement and not expensive at all.  They even store well because of their thin profile.

Polymer Thank YouI inked the maple leaf with Sahara Sand and randomly stamped on Whisper White cardstock.

Then using the Thank You, I inked that up in Cajun Craze.  I guess you could say I am transitioning to the Fall colors.

Very simple layered card with no embellishments.  Nothing fancy schmancy here!

Perfect for my September Thank You cards that will go out to all who place orders this month.

Don’t forget to use Hostess Code

this month when placing your orders.  I will be picking a lucky hostess on September 28th.

Below you will see what the Photopolymer Stamps look like.

Super cute graphics for this set and since I am addicted to Fonts, this got my attention.
